The other day a friend came into my store and told me about a game he played on the web. He is not a gamer and neither am I. He told me how you build contraptions to move your target piece into an objective. I told him it sounded interesting but I can’t see wasting my time on a game.

He agreed but disclaimed the game was so much fun that he caught himself spending up to an hour at a time at it. And he thinks he is starting to get good at it.

That was last week. Today is the day after Christmas.

What do you do the day after Christmas? Well, after running up the holistic foods, picking up natural chocolates, visiting my friend in the retirement home, running over to the theatre and watching a movie, then stopping off to pick up office supplies and finally landing at home and pulling all the hair caught in the tub trap, I couldn’t think of anything else to do. So I sat down at the computer and logged in to play the game.

It was amazing. This game uses your knowledge of physics, or lack thereof. It is engrossing and you will find the time slip away quickly. But it is not all wasted – I am sure I’m getting smarter.
